The PR and Marketing Department is responsible for the University’s marketing and communication, including internal and external information and the University web site, www.hj.se.

The PR and Marketing Department is responsible for Jönköping University's marketing and communication. Head of Department Berit Wall is also Head of Communication at Jönköping University.

The department works with the University’s national student recruitment, for example catalogues and student fairs. To secure the quality in the joint marketing the department networks in several working groups.

The department gives service to the media/press and writes press releases in the name of Jönköping University. It produces the University Annual Report, the English brochure about the University, Northern Enlightenment, and the magazine Högskriften, which is distributed both externally and internally. Another assignment is eNews, a bi-weekly newsletter, which is distributed to students and staff in English and Swedish.

The PR and Marketing Department is responsible for the uniform technical platform for the University web, www.hj.se, including the six sub webs.

The department is involved in events such as the Inauguration of Professors and Conferment of PhD

Each year the PR and Marketing Department sets up goals and priorities for its activities.
